Accounts, credits, acceptable use, and liability limits — written so you can actually read them before relying on the service in production.

These terms (Terms) cover how you use the CallVerifier website, dashboard, APIs, and related services (together, the Services). Using the Services means you agree to these Terms. If anything here is a deal-breaker for you, please do not use the product.

1. About us and where the product is available

CallVerifier is built and run from India and is available globally. You are responsible for making sure your use of the product is legal where you are - that includes telecom, privacy, consumer-protection, and anti-spam rules in your country.

2. Accounts and access

  • Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep them current.
  • Anything done with your account is your responsibility - including what your team members do.
  • We can decline new sign-ups or suspend access for risk, non-payment, or suspected misuse. We try to give notice when we can.

3. Fair use

Please do not (and do not let anyone else) use CallVerifier to:

  • Do anything illegal, abusive, misleading, harassing, or fraudulent.
  • Bypass limits or security, probe for vulnerabilities, or reverse-engineer the product.
  • Interfere with our networks, providers, or other customers - including scraping or automating past what we allow.
  • Send or store anything that infringes other people's rights, breaks confidentiality, or contains malware.

4. Credits, billing, and payments

  • Credits are consumed based on usage. The rate may vary by channel, country, provider, or feature.
  • Fees are non-refundable unless the law says otherwise. We may adjust pricing, packaging, or how credits are consumed.
  • Taxes are on you - whatever applies in your country.
  • We may pause the service for non-payment, suspected misuse, or chargebacks.

5. Availability and changes

The product may change, go down, or be retired. We do not promise it will always work without hiccups - parts of it depend on third-party networks and providers that are outside our control.

6. Verification results are informational

Verification results, risk scores, and analytics are best-effort and may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. Decisions you make based on those outputs - and any compliance work around them - are yours to own.

7. Intellectual property

We own (or license) all the rights in the product, including the software, designs, trademarks, and documentation. Nothing in these Terms gives you those rights unless we say so directly.

8. Confidentiality

Please keep non-public details about the product private. We may use aggregated, de-identified data to run and improve the platform.

9. Your data

You promise you have the rights, notices, and consents needed to upload or process the data you send through the product, and that your use of the product follows applicable laws (including privacy and telecom laws). You remain the controller of the data you send us.

10. Suspension and termination

If we think you have broken these Terms, are creating risk, or your use may hurt us, our customers, or third parties, we can pause or end your access right away. When that happens, your right to use the product ends and we may delete or disable your data and account in line with the law and our policies.

11. No warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" - WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limit of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER CALLVERIFIER NOR ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THEY MIGHT HAPPEN.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT - OR INR 10,000, WHICHEVER IS LOWER.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold CallVerifier (and its affiliates) harmless from claims, losses, and costs (including legal fees) that come from your use of the product, your data, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right.

14. Law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about the product or these Terms, and you give up any objection based on venue or forum.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. If you keep using the product after a change takes effect, you have accepted the update.
