Refund & Billing Policy

How credits, subscriptions, and refunds work — straightforward language, not a maze of footnotes.

Last updated: 26 May 2026

This page explains how credits, subscriptions, and refunds work on CallVerifier. It sits alongside our terms.

1. How credits are used

CallVerifier runs on credits, usage units, or subscription entitlements - whichever shows up at checkout for you. Credits are consumed when you use a billable feature (a verification attempt, an SMS test, a metered API call). We may adjust consumption rules and rates over time, and we will let you know in advance when changes are material.

2. Fees and taxes

Prices are shown in the currency at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or withholding that apply in your country - that includes GST in India. Invoices and receipts come through electronically.

3. Payments and renewals

If you are on a recurring plan, it renews automatically at the end of each cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date. If a payment fails, gets charged back, or looks fraudulent, we may pause or limit the service while we sort it out.

4. Refunds

Fees and credits you have already used are non-refundable, including if you stop using the product early, change your mind, or misunderstand how billing works - unless the law requires otherwise or we agreed something different in writing.

If there is a duplicate charge or a clear payment error, we will refund or credit it once we have confirmed it. If Indian consumer law (or any other mandatory rule) gives you a stronger right, we follow that.

5. Free trials and promotional credits

Trials and promo credits come with their own limits - time, scope, or volume. Trial entitlements do not roll into a paid balance automatically. We can change or stop promotions whenever we need to.

6. Chargebacks and disputes

Before you raise a chargeback with your bank, please talk to us first - most things are quicker to fix that way. Abusive chargebacks may end with the account being closed and the costs being recovered where the law allows.

7. Pricing changes

We may adjust pricing, packaging, or credit rules. When the law requires notice, we will give it. Continued use after the new pricing kicks in is treated as acceptance for any renewals or purchases after that point, as set out in the terms.

8. Questions

Drop us a line through the contact page if you have a billing question. Including your company name and invoice number makes things faster.
